Wind Energy Guichet Unique is the federal government’s central contact and information point for all matters relating to wind energy. While its primary role is to support project developers and cantonal authorities, we are also happy to answer questions from the public.
The main tasks of Wind Energy Guichet Unique include:
- answering questions about wind energy in Switzerland
- coordinating federal government opinions and the permits required for the planning and approval of wind turbines
- monitoring compliance with deadlines by the federal agencies involved.
Wind Energy Guichet Unique is based at the SFOE. Several other federal offices and agencies are also involved in Guichet Unique, including ARE, the FOEN, the FOC, OFCOM, the FOCA, ESTI, MeteoSwiss, Skyguide and the DDPS.
The following table shows the tasks coordinated by Guichet Unique. It also shows which tasks it is not responsible for.
