A variety of organisations offer financial support and advice for innovative energy research and development projects. The report entitled “Angebote der Innovationsförderung im Energiebereich” (Innovation promotion services in the energy sector) provides an overview of the main innovation promotion services for companies and public sector research institutions. Detailed information about SFOE promotion programmes in the fields of research and cleantech is available under navigation items “SWEET”, “Research programmes”, “Pilot and Demonstration programme” and “Networks and start-up promotion”.
The report “Angebote der Innovationsförderung im Energiebereich für Schweizer Firmen und Forschungsinstitute” is subject to the Federal Council's decision on the proposed measures to relieve federal finances (see press release from 20 September 2024). In the area of the SFOE in particular, the funding instrument for pilot and demonstration projects will be cancelled. The report will be updated following the consultation on the measures and the corresponding decision by the councils.
