The SFOE provides subsidiary support for research projects that correspond to the priorities of its current Energy Research Concept (2021 to 2024). The main focus is on application-oriented and development-related research projects.
The aim of the SFOE’s Pilot and Demonstration programme is to promote the market-oriented development of innovative technologies and solutions that support the economical and efficient use of energy or the use of renewable forms of energy.
Since 2021, projects organised by consortia which deal with central research issues relating to Energy Strategy 2050 are supported by the SWEET programme.
