This label provides information about the energy efficiency of the declared appliances. When we buy a new tumble dryer, it is not only the purchase price that counts, but also the associated long-term electricity costs. With this label it is possible to identify the most energy-efficient models at a glance.
In addition to energy consumption, the label also indicates the rated capaci-ty, cycle time and sound power level. The information on the label is based on the standard cotton programme.
In future, tumble dryers should consume even less electricity. The Federal Council has adopted stricter minimum efficiency requirements for these appliances, which continue to be higher than in the EU. The new require-ments apply as of 1 January 2024.
