The energy label for tumble dryers
The energy label provides information on the energy efficiency of the appliances it covers. When buying a new appliance, it is not just the purchase price that matters; you also need to factor in the long-term running costs of electricity. The label allows you to assess energy efficiency at a glance.
In addition to the energy consumption, the label also indicates the rated capacity, cycle time and sound power level. The information on the label is based on the standard cotton programme. In addition, since 1 July 2026, the repairability class is also declared on the energy label.
