Swiss Federal Office of Energy awards the Watt d’Or 2020, the Swiss energy prize
Bern, 9.1.2020 - This evening, 9 January 2020, the Swiss Federal Office of Energy is awarding the prestigious Swiss Watt d'Or Energy Prize for the thirteenth time. The golden winners in 2020 are: ZHAW along with Schmid Hutter AG Winterthur and Meyer Orchideen AG (Energy Technology category), Regio Energie Solothurn (Renewable Energies category), Viktor Meili AG and Designwerk Products AG (Energy-efficient Mobility category), and ETH Zurich (Buildings and Space category). The Watt d’Or trophy – a snow globe – will be presented to the winners this evening by the distinguished jury headed by Pascale Bruderer at the Kongresszentrum Kursaal in Bern. Hundreds of representatives of Switzerland’s energy scene, including politicians, business people and researchers, will be present as always.
