Electricity statistics
The electricity statistics are based on Switzerland’s monthly electricity balances. These record electricity production from various generation technologies, consumption by storage pumps, physical imports and exports, as well as grid losses and electricity consumption in Switzerland. In addition, end consumption of electricity by the various consumption sectors and financial data on the electricity sector are presented annually.
The weekly electricity balance statistics provide data on electricity generation, international trade and consumption in Switzerland for every Wednesday. The data is updated monthly.
