The “Energy City” label is used for certifying municipalities that develop and implement a sustainable energy policy. Energy cities promote renewable energy and ecological mobility, and focus on the efficient use of resources. The assessment of a municipality's qualification for the label is based on development and spatial planning, municipal buildings and installations, supplies and waste disposal, mobility, internal organisation, communication and cooperation.
The minimal geodata model is explained in detail in the documentation. The INTERLIS 2.3 data model and geodata are available for downloading.
