The “Electrical installations with a nominal voltage exceeding 36 kV” geodatabase dataset contains a geographical overview of the electricity network in Switzerland. It provides a uniform and up-to-date basis for implementing the Electricity Grid Strategy (e.g.coordination of grid planning and efficient spatial coordination) and Energy Strategy 2050 (e.g.zoning). In addition, the overview allows better coordination with other infrastructure facilities and increased protection of buried electrical lines.
