The minimal geodata model specifies the structure of the official geodata for the Deep Geological Repositories sectoral plan, which regulates the search for suitable sites for the construction of deep geological repositories for radioactive waste. According to the plan, the Federal Council is to search for one site for the storage of low and intermediate level radioactive waste and a separate site for high-level radioactive waste, or alternatively for a single site suitable for all radioactive waste categories.
The official geodata contain the findings of the completed stages of the sectoral plan process. The minimal geodata model is explained in detail in the documentation. The INTERLIS 2.3 data model and geodata are available for downloading.
