The Swiss Federal Office of Energy supports energy-related research, pilot and demonstration projects.

Here, priority is attached to applied and development-related research, pilot applications of new technologies and demonstration projects. Applications should always be submitted before project work is initiated.

It is advisable to discuss the project with the programme head or submit a brief description of the project before submitting the application for support..

Wherever possible, applications should be submitted in electronic form to the programme head (Thomas Kopp), who will then co-ordinate everything with the SFOE and/or other involved parties.
