The executive bodies of the Decommissioning Fund and Disposal Fund are as follows: Administrative Board, Management Board, Auditors. The Administrative Board and the Auditors are appointed by the Federal Council, while the Administrative Board is responsible for appointing the members of the Management Board.

The Administrative Board has established two committees for dealing with the various tasks: the Investment Committee and the Finance Committee. The duties of these committees are specified in a set of regulations issued by the Administrative Board.
